Pam Murphy

December 13, 2021

We today announce that after an extended period of absence,  Principal Pam Murphy will not be returning to Beaumont College.

I want to take the opportunity on behalf of the Governors, staff  and indeed for all at Beaumont, to celebrate Pam’s contribution to the life and the development of the College.

Throughout her time here she was very focussed on the education and care of the students. Much of what takes place at the College now is the result of her dedication to the wellbeing of students and her building a community of like-minded, passionate people, who will no doubt continue and build upon her wonderful legacy for many years to come. Her passion for the College and its work influenced others to follow her example – we see and hear that in our daily practice, and from many external agencies and organisations who value and admire all that Beaumont has achieved.

Pam was a compassionate and thoughtful leader who cared greatly about both the Students and the Staff Team. Pam has left an indelible imprint on the way staff work with students that will be continued, and we will continue to remember her commitment and dedication in our work.

We wish Pam all the very the best for the future.

Have a Happy Christmas and a Peaceful and Safe New Year.

Chris Lowcock, Interim Principal
