We’re so proud of South Lakes student Kyle, who has just started his new work experience placement at The Olde Sweet Shoppe in Ulverston!
Kyle has been busy weighing and bagging sweets and offering a warm welcome to customers with his brilliant smile and fantastic attitude.
Here’s what he had to say about his placement:
“I feel very happy and I can do a job I will enjoy. I’m looking forward to working hard. I will learn through observation of colleagues, using maths and calculations and being precise with measurements and how to weigh out the sweets correctly, being strong to carry things up and downstairs, good skills in customer services, being kind, caring and polite.”
It’s wonderful to see Kyle so enthusiastic about developing his skills and enjoying the world of work — keep it up, Kyle!
