Beaumont College Sussex

Empowering Futures for Special School Leavers and Beyond in the Heart of the Sussex Countryside

At Beaumont College Sussex, we specialise in transforming the lives of students transitioning from special schools to adulthood. Our bespoke pathways are designed to cater to each student’s unique needs, ensuring they receive the personalised and intensive support they deserve.

Why Choose Beaumont College Sussex?

At Beaumont College we offer five bespoke pathways that are person centred to the young people that come towards IT Assessment at college. We focus on the social and emotional wellbeing of our students. We develop behaviour support plans, provide capable environments and ensure the college setting is conductive to both learning and emotional wellbeing. Seeing students settle in, form relationships and thrive in our environment is incredibly rewarding.

Hello, my name is Jon Acraman, and I am the Head of Care at Beaumont College Sussex.

Our college is a vibrant and inclusive learning community for young adults with special educational needs and physical disabilities, nestled in the heart of Five Oaks, Sussex. Set within 17 acres of beautiful countryside—complete with an accessible light railway—our students benefit from a dynamic and supportive environment. From forest school and media studies to student voice opportunities through our active student union, we offer a broad range of experiences tailored to individual interests and aspirations.

Our personalised pathways focus on building independence, confidence, and self-advocacy. It’s an exciting time as we continue to grow our provision across the South of England, and we’re proud to support every learner to thrive.
