Students walking in a line up a hill in the countryside

Environmental Students from Beaumont College (Barrow Campus) worked near Langdale to carry out an Aspen tree planting task as part of their John Muir Trust Award on the land of Jennie Dee Hill.

This was their second task with the Morecambe Bay Partnership and Back On Our Map (BOOM) Team from the University of Cumbria (UoC Ambleside Campus) to help these trees to thrive in Cumbria.
The group will continue to work once a month on a variety of nature-based projects with these organisations.

The tree planting was followed by a walk up Stickle Ghyll.
