Students at our Barrow campus enjoyed completing a 2 day first aid course with St John Ambulance. They successfully worked in pairs to work through most of the basic first aid scenarios, including injury, illness, heart attack, drowning and choking.
St John Ambulance provided a very practical, hands on course, involving the use of specialist equipment and training tools, including Resusci Annies and AED Defibrillators.
The students feel proud of their achievements and enjoyed receiving their certificates. We hope to continue our partnership with St John Ambulance next year.
