Duke of Edinburgh

March 11, 2022

Students undertaking the The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award braved the fresh spring weather this week to practice some of their camping cooking skills.

Students made their own lunches consisting of sausage, mash and beans and stewed apples and custard.
Rachel Diss, D of E Manager here at college said “What an amazing skill set they have developed today! Outdoor food prep, cooking and map reading skills – fantastic. They were so excited by different parts throughout the day”.
