On Sunday 16th June, students and staff from Beaumont College South Lakes performed at the Internationally renowned festival – Another Fine Fest
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the award winning, age-inclusive, diverse & accessible festival of music, spoken word, street theatre, visual art, circus & interactive workshops spanning 10 partner venues, 3 outdoor stages & 32 visual art spaces.
The festival provides free events for an audience of 20,000+ & opportunities for 100s of artists, technicians & volunteers.
Students and staff worked with professional performer Gary Bridgens (Gacko) and created an original song ‘Another Birthday’ which was performed, as well as bringing a very posh party with ukulele playing, sing and sign, clowning, a pie fight, and providing a rather large birthday cake to celebrate the festivals milestone anniversary.
Everyone involved had lots of fun, celebrating wearing very posh frocks and suits, bringing rock n sausage roll to the streets of Ulverston!
