Assistive Technology Resources

January 17, 2023

We would like to say a big thank you to residential student Luke, who has donated a collection of assistive technology resources to college.
Stef Armitage, speech and language technician, says “These wireless switches and receivers are great pieces of kit. We use them within sessions so our learners can control their environment. One example of this would be for the switch to be paired with software which enables our learners to start and stop their favourite YouTube videos”.
We are really grateful for the donation and know that the equipment will enhance the learning experience of our students.
