Sue Beresford

Assistant Principal for Education – MA RCA

Sue started work in 1989 as an Educational Technologist whilst practicing as a Ceramic Artist; selling work both home and abroad. Sue is committed to Person Centred Approaches and is a Counsellor and Dynamic Life Coach, and during her career at Beaumont College she has taken up opportunities to increase her knowledge and experience through secondments at two specialist schools, most recently taking the post of Vice Principal at Meldreth Manor School in Cambridgeshire. Sue trained at the Royal College of Art in London and brought her experience of creative thinking processes to the design of the college curriculum, and the development of Art & Design, Media studies and Adventure film Making. During her career Sue has received a number of awards including a Fellowship at Ravensbourne, Minor Travel Award and Reflective Practitioner Award from Edgehill University. Sue is integral to the satellite design development and set up in Carlisle, Blackpool and Barrow, and the provision of Respite and Short Break services in Lancaster.
Sue is an Adventure Cyclist and has completed many tours including Lands End to John O’Groats and the French Channel to Med.
