Workforce Development
It is the role of the Workforce Development team to promote the professional development of every member of the multi disciplinary team resulting in the highest quality of teaching, learning and support for Learners.
Identified strategic priorities for staff development and training are:
Staff development and training for teaching as per legislative requirements.
Ensuring NVQ college targets are met in line with CSCI targets.
Continuing Professional Development needs for professionals i.e. nurses, SLTs, behaviour team, physiotherapists & OTs. Meeting all health & safety targets for: first aid, manual handling, food hygiene, risk assessment etc.
This means that that the College has a workforce focused on student learning and support where all staff are demonstrably fit to practice and systems are in place to ensure individual competency.
