Person Centred Curriculum
The college offers very individual programmes within a curriculum that has strong emphasis on creative arts, communication and personal development towards independent living.
As well as offering discrete courses provided internally within the college, many outstanding partnerships are in place with local and regional arts providers, local education providers, local employers and community facilitators to ensure leavers have the maximum opportunity to access an inclusive programme within the wider community.
Each learner accesses an individual programme that is based on a combination of course choices and that is tailored to meet individual needs and aspirations identified through person centred PATH planning and support assessments.
Learners’ progress is guided through person centred goals and targets.
